TECHNICAL FIELD The present disclosure relates to oxide-ion conductors having the general chemical formula La 2 Ge 1− M x MgO 6−0.5x , in which 0<x<1 and M=Cr, Sc, Ga and In or a mixture thereof. BACKGROUND The ability to conduct oxide-ions (O 2− ) allows the use of materials in a variety of applications.
